A bit about me...

In 2016, I graduated from Liverpool John Moores University with a BA(Hons) Fine Art degree; since then, I have been pursuing my artistic career within the city - creating artworks within my studio space, setting up exhibitions and working on commission-based art.

In the past five years, I have been keen to experience as many different avenues of artistic work as possible and  have been fortunate enough to have travelled and work alongside many accomplished artists from all over the world; thus expanding my learning process and advancing who I am as an artist.

I have, and continue to, get involved with school and community art projects, offering tutorials and creativity in any way that I can.

I am an active artist who works in a wide range of media, but I am predominantly passionate about painting. For me, it's the overwhelming feeling that the marks that I make on a canvas, can influence a viewer's mind. I will never tire of the challenge and excitement of bringing a portrait to life.

"Lucy has always been involved in creating artwork that revolves around a sense of identity – or lack of it. She is a fervent portrait artist whom strives to capture life within her work and a sense of who her model really is. Lucy endeavors to produce art that spectacles real imagery that society would rather conceal. This artist’s work shatters false identity and makes no effort to hide the non-socially acceptable."
